This is a glossary about the principal medicine language, and I do this for my English homework.
Blood
Blood : noun
Red liquid that circulates in the blood vessels throughout the body.
Example: There's some blood on my shirt.
fr: Liquide rouge qui circule dans les vaisseaux sanguin partout à travers le corps.
Burn
Burn : noun
Lesion on the body caused by fire.
Example: I burnt my arm during the dinner.
fr: Lésion sur le corps causée par le feu.
Cerebral concussion
Concussion : noun
Cerebral lesion often caused by one or more head blow.
Example: You have a cerebral concussion.
fr: Lésion cérébrale souvent causé par un ou plusieurs coup à la tête.
Coma
Coma : noun
Prolonged loss of consciousness.
Example: She's in the coma.
fr: Perte de conscience prolongée.
Convalescence
Convalescence : noun
Convalescence means : after surgery, injury or whatever, you need time to recover, regain strength, etc.
Example: After my surgery, I took more than three weeks before to return at school.
fr: Convalescence veut dire après une opération, une blessure ou autre, c'est le temps de repos pour reprendre des forces, laisser le temps à notre corps de se réparer et s'habituer aux changements.
Diagnostic
Diagnostic : noun
Diagnostic: It's the identification of the disease with the symptoms.
Example: The diagnostic is here, you have cancer.
fr: Le diagnostic est le résultat d'une situation, dans ce cas-ci, c'est l'identification de la maladie en tenant compte des symptômes.
Empty stomach
Empty : adjective
Stomach : noun
Before some medical exam or surgery, sometimes, the doctor will ask you to be empty stomach. It means you can't eat from a specific time until the end of the medical intervention.
Example: At midnight, you can't eat anymore, until the end of your surgery.
fr: Avant certains examens médical ou chirurgie, parfois, le docteur va demander d'être à jeun. Cela veut dire qu'on ne peut plus manger à partir d'une heure précise, jusqu'à la fin de l'intervention médicale.
Fracture
Fracture : noun
Fracture means : breaking of a bone.
Example: Your arm is broken.
fr: Une fracture est la rupture d'un os.
Give birth
Give : verb
Birth : noun
Give birth means : the woman gives birth to her child.
Example: My daughter gave birth to her son last night!
fr: Accoucher veut dire: la femme met au monde son enfant.
Glucose
Glucose : noun
Glucose is a king of sugar.
Example: You have too much glucose in your blood.
fr: Le glucose est un sucre.
Heart attack
Heart attack : noun
Heard attack means :closed or blocked heart artery that kills part of the heart muscle, causing permanent damage.
Example: My uncle died from heart attack.
fr: Crise de coeur : un artère fermé ou bloqué qui cause la mort d'un muscle cardiaque et qui entraîne des dommages permanents.
Hemorrhage
Hemorrhage : noun
Blood leak out of the blood vessel.
Example: He's bleeding a lot!
fr: Fuite de sang hors du vaisseau sanguin.
Insulin
Insulin : noun
Hormone secreted by the pancreas.
Example: Give me my insuline for my diabetes.
fr: Hormone secrétée par le pancréas.
Medication
Medication : noun
Medication means : substance prepared to serve as a remedy.
Example: Take this medication every morning.
fr: Un médicament est une substance préparée dans le but de guérir la personne.
Nausea
Nausea : noun
You feel like you're going to vomit.
Example: I think I'm going to vomit.
fr: Tu a envie de vomir.
Prescription
Prescription : noun
Medication prescription by doctor.
Example: I have to pick up my prescription at the pharmacy.
fr: Médicament sous ordonnance prescrit par le médecin.
Pulse
pulse : noun
Beat of the arteries produced by the successive waves of the projected blood of the heart.
Example: I can't find the pulse!
fr: Battement des artères produit par les vagues successives du sang projeté du coeur.

Room surgery : this is the place where surgeons practice their job.
Example: I just got my left knee surgery last week.
fr: Les salles d'opérations sont les places où les chirurgiens opèrent leurs patients.
Sprain
Sprain : noun
Sprain means : painful injury to a joint because of stretching or ligament rupture.
Example: You have a sprain.
fr: Entorse : une blessure douloureuse dû à un étirement ou une rupture de ligament.
X-ray
X-ray : noun
X-ray means : photographic recording of the structure of a body traversed by X-rays.
Example: You are going to have an x-ray.
fr: Une radiographie est une photo de l'intérieur de notre corps pour voir les os.
